Francesca Bellenis was born in Rome from a Greek mother and Roman father, fundamental for her career since it is from him that she heredited her love for music. Long before learning to play the guitar at the age of 11 Francesca was already getting ready to sing.

During her early teens she practiced figurative ice skating so successfully as to win two silver medals in the category of junior agonistic competitions. Her first theatrical play as an actress was at the age of 8 at the "Quirino" Theatre of Rome. At age 11 she won an award for classical ballet in a national competition.
